Syllabus for Indian Army Direct Entry Recruitment 2017:
The aptitude test is conducted for those candidates whom gonna apply the exam. Aptitude proficiency test will be conducted as specified in Appx to IHQ of MoD (Army) letter No 62506/Rtg 5(OR)(A) dt 20 Sep 06. Need for adhering to the policies laid down for conducting Aptitude Tests is mandatory. For Soldier Tradesmen it is reiterated that, the physical fitness tests constitute a vital input about a soldier’s potential / aptitude.
Soldier General Duty – Physical Fitness Test (PFT) + Common Entrance Examination (CEE) marks
Soldier Technical / Clerk / Store Keeper Technical / Nursing Assistant – Common Entrance Examination (CEE) marks. However, the individual should have qualified in Physical Fitness Test (PFT).
Tradesmen with Aptitude Test – 30% Physical Fitness Test (PFT) marks + 30% Common Entrance Examination (CEE) marks + 40% Tradesman Aptitude Test marks.
Tradesmen without Aptitude Test – 60% Physical Fitness Test (PFT) marks + 40% Common Entrance Examination (CEE) marks.
Tradesmen Musician – 50% Physical Fitness Test (PFT) marks + 25% Aptitude Test marks + 25% Common Entrance Examination (CEE) marks.
For Indian Army Direct Entry Recruitment 2017, 10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.Should have studied and passed English and Maths / Accounts / Book Keeping in Class X or Class XII with 40% marks in each subject.
In case of graduate with Maths and English as subject in B.Sc, the stipulation of 40% in Class X or Class XII is waived off. In case of graduate without English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping, he should have scored more than 40% in English and Maths / Accounts / Book Keeping at least once in Class X or Class XII.
The lower and upper age limit for the Indian Army Direct Entry Recruitment 2017, it will be reckoned as indicated in the individual Employment Notification. The upper age limit is relaxable as under, subject to submission of requisite certificate.
Age limit should be between 17 ½ – 23 Yrs as on the release of the notification.
Scale of Pay:
Emoluments on initial appointment will be minimum pay of the grade plus other allowances admissible at that time. During training period only stipend will be paid as applicable. Candidate may have to give security deposit and execute indemnity bond wherever necessary.
How to Apply:
1.Educational Certificate / Marksheet issued by the Recognized Education Board.
2.Residence Certificate with photograph issued by the authorised signatory of the State Government / Tehsildar / SDM.
3.Caste Certificate with photograph to be signed by Village Sarpanch except in the case of SIKH (Mazbi and Ramdasia), Gujjar and Gorkha candidates wherein it is reqd to be signed by the authorised signatory of the State Government / Tehsildar / SDM. Candidates belonging to Dogra Community to produce certificate with photograph issued by Tehsildar / Authorised Government Signatory.
4.Religion Certificate issued by the authorized signatory of the State Government / Tehsildar / SDM.
5.School Character Certificate issued by the Schools / Colleges Principal / Headmaster.
6.Character Certificate with photograph issued by the Village Sarpanch / Municipal Corporation / Police issued within last six months.
7.Unmarried Certificate with photograph issued by Village Sarpanch / District Administration issued within last six months (If candidate is below 21 years of age).
8.Relationship Certificate issued by concerned Records Office (Applicable for only the Son of Serving Soldiers / Widows / War Widows and Ex-servicemen).
9.NCC A / B / C Certificates. In case of NCC Certificate holders relevant certificates and certificate for participation in Republic Day Parade to be produced for dispensation.
10.Sports Certificate to be produced if represented in the following Represented India at International level, Represented State at National Level, Represented District at National Level, Represented University Team or Regional Team at District Level.
11.Candidates having O+ Level Computer Certificate ‘Business Professional Programmer’ issued by the DOEACC Society.
12.Latest passport size photographs. Both the ears of the candidates must be visible and SIKH (Mazbi and Ramdasia) candidates must have photograph in turban and without turban.
13.Kandi area certificate for applicable candidates to be issued by Tehsildar / Authorised Government Signatory.
